Content Tracker is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not store your uploaded content or personal data. Your files are processed temporarily and deleted immediately after you download your results or navigate away from the page.

2.1 Uploaded Content

When you use the Service, you upload files for watermarking. This content is:

Processed temporarily in memory or temporary storage
Automatically deleted after you download your results or close/navigate away from the page
Never shared with third parties
Never used for any purpose other than providing the watermarking service

2.2 Recipient Information

You provide recipient identifiers (email addresses or phone numbers) to associate with each watermarked copy. This information is:

Used solely to generate unique watermarks for each recipient
Included in the output package you download
Deleted from our systems after processing is complete
Never used to contact recipients or for marketing purposes

2.3 Device Identifier

We generate a random, anonymous device identifier to associate your upload session with your download. This identifier:

Is randomly generated and not linked to your identity
Is stored only in your browser's session storage
Is deleted when you close your browser or navigate away
Cannot be used to identify you personally

2.4 Technical Information

Like most web services, our servers may automatically collect:

IP addresses (for security and abuse prevention)
Browser type and version
Access times

This information is used solely for security monitoring and is not linked to your uploaded content or personal identity.

3. Data Retention

We retain your uploaded content and recipient information only for the duration of your session. Specifically:

Uploaded files: Deleted immediately after you download your results or navigate away from the preview page
Processed watermarked files: Deleted immediately after download or session expiration
Recipient information: Deleted along with the associated upload data
Session data: Automatically expires and is purged within 24 hours of inactivity

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data during processing:

All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
Files are processed in isolated environments
Access to processing systems is strictly controlled
Temporary files are securely deleted after processing

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

The only exceptions are:

Service providers: We may use third-party hosting or infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, though as noted in our Terms of Service, we minimize data retention specifically to limit what could be disclosed

6. Browser Storage and Tracking

We do not use cookies. We use browser storage as follows:

Session storage: Temporary data (job ID, download authorization) that is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab
Local storage: An anonymous device identifier used to authorize your downloads. This identifier is randomly generated, not linked to your identity, and can be cleared by clearing your browser data
No advertising or tracking: We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party analytics

7. Your Rights

Because we do not retain your data, most traditional data rights are automatically satisfied:

Right to deletion: Your data is automatically deleted; no request needed
Right to access: There is no stored data to access after your session ends
Right to portability: You receive all processed data directly via download

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer and processing.
